Life Coaching to handle major life events

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

My sister is a life coach in the UK. She recently wrote an article on her life coaching blog that focused on an imaginary wedding speech and how things can go well through good preparation. It is not always enough to have the support of friends and family, sometimes you need a professional, objective perspective in order to ensure that that big speech goes smoothly. This is where life coaching can help. It is a growing market in the UK and it is easy to understand why as the pressure increases on individuals to succeed in all aspects of life. Here in France this market has not yet taken off. This is maybe because the emphasis is still on family and quality of life rather than work and the pressure to succeed. Having said that, her follow up article on how life coaching can help individuals through the credit crunch is just as relevant in France as it is elsewhere!!
