VLC / Mplayer - Missing dependency - Aspire One
Saturday, September 20th, 2008I tried to add VLC to my aspire one but got the following error messages.
Error: Missing Dependency: libpulse.so.0(PULSE_0) is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: libopendaap.so.0 is needed by package vlc-core
Error: Missing Dependency: libdvdnav.so.4 is needed by package vlc-core
I gave up and tried to install the new version of mplayer using the instructions from this site:

Great instructions but had similar dependency error messages, including libdvdnavmini.
